Last week I reviewed the latest Delta Air Lines BusinessElite amenity kit featuring a Tumi case. I encourage you to check out my critique, as this one scored highest of the three Delta kits I’ve reviewed to date here on Frequently Flying. It’s vastly improved from the red cylindrical offering first appearing in 2011(ish), and a notch above last year’s tan handle bag.

Without a doubt, I like the Delta Air Lines BusinessElite Tumi case amenity kit the best. It is the classiest of the three.
I like the contents of the current one best but actually favor the shape of the red one.
I have not seen any in person yet but the current one looks nicer than the older ones, so it gets my vote

I definitely prefer the Tumi amenity kit. Not only the best of the 3 Delta kits but I think this is the best kit from any of the U.S. carriers.
Love the new TUMI bag! Have the old one and it is not even a close compare.

This year’s is tops for me.
Of all three cases, I think this one is definitely the most stylish of them. Though 2011’s red cylinder was definitely an experiment in being fashionable and interesting. I’d carry the red cylinder, but love the brand appeal that comes with this amenity case – very chic!

The Tumi – by far. The Red Cylinder was good of reycling as a traveling computer cables holder…but the Tumi is a major improvement.

My favorite is definitely the tumi one. Big step in right direction and shows delta might not hate its customers after all.

Looks like Tumi is the most stylish.
Since I’m a fan of lip balm (ok…its a fetish) and Korres, I like the amenities in the tan case the best. I would never toss aside a Tumi case, though.

I’m a sucker for anything Tumi makes… so I’m very pleased that they partnered with Delta for their new amenity kit.
I love the new Tumi Kit…reusable bag, great stuff inside.
I like the Tumi one the most because it looks less like an airline amenity kit bag and can, thus, be used for other things.

I definitely like the TUMI review. I’m glad to see that Delta keeps upgrading their amenity kits.
The current one wins.
I’ve been getting a bunch of these on US to Asia flights the last few months — if you connect on DL via NRT, it’s frequently two of them in each direction — and they are more in line with my luggage. I like them; and I am using them more than with any previous amenity kits I’ve gotten from US airlines in many years.
Tumi has more cachet, but Red holds a beer can with more style.

The Tumi kit looks awesome. The packaging of the stuff inside, for some reason, makes me think of Virgin Atlantic (yes, I’m weird). Without all the stuff in it I can use it to carry my diabetic stuff (instead of the incredibly lame nylon things they ordinarily come with).

@Andy: No, I believe you’d only get the kit if you flew BusinessElite internationally. They were kind in sending me these kits as an exception since I blog about them. 😉
