  1. I see AKL, MNL, TPE and HND as SFO routes without a US carrier. TPE isn’t likely with EVA just joining and UA already has NRT. So that leaves AKL and MNL. I’m thinking Gene is right with the AKL guess.

  2. my guess for UA new Transpacific route will be Quanzhou, China, just a guess but I think it makes sense since alot of chinese in SFO

    UA already has SFO-TPE available for reservations, although some question if that will actually launch due to EVA. HND can’t be done without slots that aren’t available, AKL is next best, but with ANZ codeshare on that route, I doubt United will take over ANZ market, which leaves CAN, which United announced service to a few years back, but was indefinitely suspended. CAN or CTU is where my money is.
