After a refreshing sleep and shower at the transit hotel, I had about four hours before my flight and spent the majority of it in Asiana’s Business Class Lounge.

Soups, noodles, veggies, cheese, crackers, toast and other items were available along with a well-stocked beverage section.

Converters were available at the front desk and I plugged in to catch up on emails. Very few outlets were found in the main part of the lounge, which is a major complaint. I saw numerous people hunting for those few that existed along the wall.

It’s a nice lounge, but nothing is special enough about it to rush to the airport to have ample time to experience. I have a feeling I’ll be flying Asiana again and hope next time I’ll be departing Seoul in First Class so I can check out Asiana’s better lounge offering at ICN.

    • I’ll vote no since it (the HKG one) doesn’t have restrooms, showers, massage chairs, a view, etc. The SQ lounge (in HKG) wins in the food category, but OZ’s offering here at ICN is overall a better experience.

  1. Nice report. I am waiting to see your ICN-LAX business class report… Hope it’s their new biz seat? I am going to take LAX-ICN in March but there are very few reports on their new biz class seat.

  2. Despite the cons that you mention, I would rather fly business class any old day rather than fly coach and be herded like cattle!
