I had a fantastic day of flying yesterday on United’s inaugural flight(s) of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. I flew on the first three revenue flights from Houston to Chicago, Chicago back to Houston and from Houston to Los Angeles. Phew. I’m exhausted (but in a good #avgeek way).
A full trip report will be coming soon to Frequently Flying, but in the meantime… how about a takeoff video of flight 1116 on November 4, 2012 from IAH to ORD:
Nice…seems so quiet. Hope to fly it sometime soon.
Love it !!
I’ve got the second longest 787 flight coming up on Friday (in 3A), I am looking forward to it. What seat were you in? 4A or 5A or was I way off base?
@Kris: I was in 4A on this leg. 3A will be better, 2A probably the best window seat, fwiw
I got the furthest forward window seat I could, right now there is only one seat open, and it is in the middle of the cabin.
Wow, how cool – can’t wait for the trip report!
